Join the Intrepid Museum for a special event that explores the world of wine and mixology. Summer Tasting Fest on July 28 is the perfect occasion to gather friends, relax, and enjoy your favorite libations!
Summer Tasting Fest is your all-access pass to a wide variety of emerging and renowned breweries, wineries, and spirits from near and far. Sample a range of beverages throughout the evening while enjoying live entertainment, delicious food, and interactive games.
With over 100 different samples available, this event is a great opportunity to discover new brews, wines and spirits. Engage in conversations with brewery representatives, sommeliers, and master distillers to learn more about your favorite drinks and the craft behind them. Whether you prefer local beers or international wines, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Local food vendors will also be on-hand, serving mouthwatering dishes (additional cost applies) that pair perfectly with your drinks.

All visitors must receive an admission ticket at the Museum’s Welcome Center prior to entering the Museum and Summer Tasting Fest. There is a security screening process upon entry. Doors for the Museum will open at 5:00 pm and the Summer Tasting Fest will start at 5:30pm. After entering the Museum complex, your Eventbrite ticket will need to be presented on the pier to access the Summer Tasting Fest. Last entry to the Museum and Summer Tasting Fest is at 8:30pm.

Free Fridays Return to the Intrepid Museum! The Intrepid Museum is extending its hours with no cost of admission on Friday, July 28, from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Get up close with the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid, explore the iconic space shuttle Enterprise, marvel at the world’s fastest jets, and embark on a guided tour of a nuclear missile submarine! And to celebrate the ship’s 80th commissioning anniversary, enjoy special programs like our free summer movie series featuring “ship” themed films. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Hudson River and city skyline, enjoy a free screening of the classic film Crimson Tide on the flight deck. The movie begins at sunset.

Are there any restrictions?
No Knapsacks, large bags, outside food or drinks will be allowed. Must be 21 and over with picture ID for Entry.
Am I allowed to leave and re-enter the festival?
No. Sorry but all exits are final, no one will be re-admitted for any reason.
Are children or pets permitted to attend the tasting?
No. We love kids and four-legged friends, but for everyone’s safety, no children, toddlers, infants, strollers or pets are permitted. Admission tickets for the caregiver will not be honored or refunded. All attendees must be 21+
What does admission include?
You will pay one fee to get in. You are welcome to sample any alcohol that is offered.
Will food be available for purchase?
There will be numerous options of food for purchase at the event.
What is the admission charge for designated drivers?
Designated drivers will be charged 15 per ticket. No one under 21 will be admitted to the festival. Designated Drivers, like everyone else must be 21+ and show valid photo ID for admission.
How much does parking cost?
The Venue Does Not have parking local NYC parking lots available nearby at varying costs
Is there music?
Yes. Live music will be performed at the event.
How does the Designated Driver ticket work?
The designated driver buys a special designated driver ticket. The designated driver receives a different colored wristband. They are able to enjoy all the activities of the expo except they are not allowed to drink any alcohol beverage. Any designated driver who is seen drinking will be escorted out immediately.
