Highlight: Burlington New Year’s Eve Celebration
Burlington, Vermont
Signal Kitchen & Burlington City Arts have teamed up to reimagine Burlington’s citywide New Year’s Eve celebration. Highlight builds upon First Night’s 35-year legacy by introducing a new series of proposal-driven, community-produced events and creative happenings that will expand across Burlington’s Waterfront, South End, Old North End and Downtown Corridor.  Highlight will guide event-goers through a series of authentic and exciting experiences; A larger-than-life community parade, hands-on creative activities, and family-fun daytime activities will meet cutting edge art installations, diverse cultural events, curated music performances, workshops, storytelling sessions, and much more.

Annual Vermont Maple Festival
St. Albans, Vermont
A large, statewide event with three days full of fun, activities and learning, all centered around the theme of Maple-Vermont’s signature product. Maple Cooking Contests 

June
Strolling of the Heifers Weekend
Brattleboro, Vermont
A weekend of fun and education for the whole family, built around the world-famous, agriculturally-themed Strolling of the Heifers Parade. Come down to Brattleboro’s historic Main Street and dance to the MOOOsic.  The parade kicks off at 10 am sharp with scores of lovable heifer calves – groomed, decorated and led by future farmers. The heifers are followed by farm animals, bands, tractors, floats, clowns and surprises.  When it’s over, follow the crowd to the Slow Living Expo for food, entertainment, animals, tractors, music and family fun, plus demonstrations, craft show and exhibits related to our mission of farm and food innovation.
