It’s time to mark your calendars for our favorite event of the year, The Rutherford Chili Ball!
We’ll be kicking up the dust at the Round Pond Pole Barn with an unforgettable afternoon of family-friendly fun to kick off the beginning of the 2023 harvest season. Ticket price includes admission, sampling and voting in the chili competition, one entrée, and one drink ticket. Additional food will be available for purchase.
Prepare your taste buds for the ultimate showdown as Rutherford’s famous Chili Cook-off takes center stage. The air will be filled with friendly rivalry as vintners, growers, firefighters, chefs, and chili connoisseurs from the Rutherford community battle it out for the prestigious title and eternal glory. Witness the heated competition unfold before your eyes and play your part in deciding this year’s deserving champion through a live vote!
But that’s not all! Treat your palate to a delicious dinner from one of our handpicked selection of food trucks, offering an array of flavors to satisfy every craving. Rutherford wines and local beer will be available by the glass throughout the event, as well as bottles from our mystery wine-pull.
For the little ones, we’ve got plenty of fun waiting. Engage in lawn games, delight in fluffy cotton candy, and test your rodeo skills on the mechanical bull. Fun knows no bounds at this event, and we guarantee that children of all ages will have a blast!
Feeling lucky? Don’t miss your chance to score incredible treasures and experiences at our one-of-a-kind Silent Auction! With every winning bid, you directly contribute to the support of our local non-profit organizations. By joining us at this event, you contribute to the success and prosperity of the Rutherford Dust Society, Rutherford 4-H, Rutherford Volunteer Fire Department, Rutherford Grange, and St. Helena Cooperative Nursery School.

Reserved table for 10: $1,000
Adults: $75, with a special early bird price of $60 until July 7th
Ages 13-20: $30
Ages 6-12: $20
