Use appropriate plates to present dishes

 The choice of plate greatly affects the appearance of the dish and the taste of the diners, specifically:

Round plate: This is the most commonly used type of plate, and the presentation of dishes on a round plate is also the simplest and most diverse. You can decorate in a corner or around the plate to highlight the dish inside. The round decoration around will create the feeling of a deeper plate.

Oval plate : Usually, people use oval plate to present dishes made from fish. Fish are placed along the body of the plate, concentrated mainly in the interior of the plate. The outer rim and the head of the fish will have gaps, so the decoration should focus there, both to cover the space and not to lose the value of the dish.

Square or rectangular plate: With this type of plate, you should not use vegetables and fruits decorated in an arc or circle because it will create empty corners, giving the impression that the dish is not full. Instead, you should decorate along the center of the plate or along the surrounding borders.

Leaf plate: This type of plate is often used for fried dishes and you should only decorate one corner of the plate, focusing on the stem.

Garnish with vegetables

Vegetables are foods that are used a lot in the art of presenting dishes. A lovely rose-trimmed tomato, carrot, flower-trimmed pepper… will all make the dish more beautiful and attractive. Note: The vegetables used in the dish and decoration must be fresh, not bruised or wilted to avoid affecting the quality of the finished product.
