The Fort Adams Trust and Ragged Island Brewing Co. are excited for the second annual Newport Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 16th! Bavaria meets the Ocean State inside the walls of historic Fort Adams where attendees will be able to enjoy authentic German beer, wine, food, and live music.
This 21+ event is a fundraising event for the Fort Adams Trust.
Tickets
Newport Oktoberfest tickets include entry to the festival from 2:00 to 5:30 PM and a stein glass to be used for all-samples-included beer throughout the afternoon. Designated driver tickets include entry to the festival, and a glass upon exiting the festival. Food can be purchased onsite from local caterers and vendors.
Beer
All General Admission attendees will receive a custom glass beer stein upon entering the Festival to be used throughout the afternoon for all-pours-included sampling from local breweries Ragged Island Brewing Co., Taproot Brewery, Rejects Beer Co., and several to be announced German staples.
Wine
Authentic German wines will be available for pouring and is included in the general admission ticket price.
Food
Authentic Bavarian food will be for sale at the festival, including bratwurst, kraut, roast chickens, giant pretzels, and more!

- The festival starts at 2:00 and ends at 5:30
- This is a private, ticketed, 21+ event. No one without a ticket or under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants and babies.
- 21+ ID’s are checked at the entrance
- Check-in will begin 30 minutes before the gates open
- Please have the Eventbrite ticket barcode(s) ready on your mobile, or print your ticket.
- Tickets are non-refundable. No Exceptions. However, in the event that you cannot attend and have tickets, you are welcome to gift or sell them. The event is not responsible for private transactions regarding ticket resale.
- Free parking is available at Fort Adams State Park in the lot nearest to the Fort and overflow parking available in the sports fields on the left.
- We love dogs too, but sorry, there are no dogs allowed in the festival unless they are a service animal.
