FREE SUMMER EVENT! Make your way to the Keith YMCA in the heart of the University area on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 11am-3pm for a good old fashioned cookout with the best of:
- Food Trucks (savory and sweet)
- Field Day Games & Team Sports
- Music (Live DJ)
- Vendors (face painting, bounce houses, arts & crafts, and more)
- FREE BACK TO SCHOOL BACKPACKS & SCHOOL SUPPLIES
It’s that time of year again….back to school! Before you know it, families across the region will be in full preparation mode and shopping for clothes, uniforms, supplies and more. Unfortunately, there are many who cannot afford the basics and some kids may go without…this is where we plan to help. In an effort to give back, Greater Church in Charlotte will give away full backpacks to help our community kids have a great start to the school year. This event will be a fun-filled day of activities for all ages to enjoy!
