We are excited to bring the 5th Annual Biergarten Fundraiser to the Black Forest again this year. The 2023 Black Forest Biergarten is a night out with music, beer and fun.
We are turning our fundraising efforts to the Black Forest Community Center and the “Love the Logs” project.
The Community Center is a log structure built by the Black Forest community in 1926 with logs donated from local families. The logs need to be maintained and we are raising money to re-stain the logs and repair or replace any wood that is damaged or rotting. The Community Center is a pivotal force in the heart of our unique Black Forest community. With your help, we can keep the Community Center available to all for another 90+ years!
2023 Black Forest Biergarten General Admission tickets are $25 and include entrance to the event from 6:30pm – 9:00pm, musical entertainment from Wirewood Station, a party bag, a custom souvenir glass from the event, (4) tickets for 2-ounce sample pours, and (2) 8-oz pour drink tickets for a fill of the glass with your choice of beer, or beers, from one of our featured breweries. Sample a few and then fill your glass!
*NEW THIS YEAR – 80 VIP Tickets will be available. VIP Tickets are $50 and include musical entertainment from Wirewood Station, a party bag, a custom souvenir glass from the event, plus:
*Entrance to the event one-hour before everyone else, the VIP ticket-holders get in from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. This gives more time for VIP ticket-holders to interact with the brewers.
*Special tickets for 2-ounce sample pours. VIP ticket-holders will get a ticket for a sample of each beer at the event (currently 10 samples). The sampling will be from 5:30pm – 6:30pm.
*VIP tickets include (6) 8-oz. pour drink tickets. Sample the different beers, and then enjoy three more pints (or six half-pints) of your choice.
*Demos by the Brew Brothers of Pikes Peak. From 5:30pm – 6:30pm, members of a local home brewers group, Brew Brothers of Pikes Peak, will be hosting demos on home brewing and they will be starting a batch of mead. VIP ticket-holders also receive a sample of mead.
*Special Musical Performance. From 5:30pm – 6:30pm, local Black Forest artist Terry Spence is performing an acoustic set to add to the ambiance.
Drink tickets for additional half-pint pours are available for purchase during the Biergarten:
-(1) ticket for (1) half-pint (8 oz), $3.00
-(2) tickets for (2) half-pints or one full pint, $5.00
Sodas and bottled water will also be available for purchase at $1.00 each.
Our musical entertainment for the evening is Wirewood Station, voted “Best Band in Colorado Springs” three years in a row. Local food trucks will be there if you decide to have dinner in the Forest during the event. It will be a great evening out in the beautiful Black Forest with drinks, music, and food.
