The 2023 Springfield Oyster and Beer Festival (SOB Fest) is held at the Inn at 835 in Downtown Springfield on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend from 12-5pm. It will be held rain or shine, because attendees will be covered by the two 100′ tents we’ve secured. Over 150 craft beers from over 40 breweries will be represented from across the midwest and nationally.

Musical acts will keep you moving as you enjoy new and unique fine craft libations. Gourmet oyster dishes as well as food trucks to keep your belly happy while your taste buds are entertained by delicious brews.

Neighboring businesses support the charity event by offering their parking lot to festival goers. The lots are next door, across the street, and within one block. Off-street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. All parking is free. See SOBFestival.com for a map.

Do you allow refunds?

No. We are a charity event and the event is rain or shine. We provide two 100′ x 40′ tents to provide shelter and shade. If it does rain, you’ll still have a great time! Just look back to 2021 😉

What is the seating situation?

Seating is limited. We encourage you to move around, dance, and have fun. However, if you wish to BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair), you may.

Do you allow children or pets?

As much as we love puppies and kids, we suggest leaving them with a sitter. This is a 21 and over event with a lot of people and loud music.

Do you accept credit cards?

No, we are a CASH ONLY event! An ATM is located on site, but we suggest you come prepared.
