Presented by Drake’s Brewing Company and Bike East Bay, Session Fest returns on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 1-5pm to Oakland’s Snow Park, next to Lake Merritt!
Join local craft breweries as they share a wide range of thoughtfully crafted, full-flavored and super refreshing session brews, perfect for kicking back on a warm summer day. Enjoy music, food, and a bikey good time on the shore of beautiful Lake Merritt.
Rock the Bike brings the energy with a pedal-powered DJ set. Electric innovators Rad Power Bikes and The New Wheel will be there giving e-bike demos, and Trek will provide free bike maintenance and giveaways. Lawn games and more provided by Tipsy Putt.
Bike Valet and helmet decorating provided by Bike East Bay’s education program.

2023 Session Beer Fest
All proceeds benefit the good folks of Bike East Bay in their local advocacy efforts to bring about better, safer biking for all.
These are some of the best session beers California has to offer! Entry is FREE, so bring the whole crew to enjoy the sunshine. Food will be available for purchase, and you’re also welcome to bring your own food to have a picnic on the lawn.
Ticketed attendees receive a signature 16 oz tasting glass and five or ten tickets, and tickets are redeemable from any brewery of their choice as follows:
1 ticket = half glass (8 oz) pour / 2 tickets = full glass (16 oz) pour

Will Call opens at 12:30pm, beer starts flowing right at 1pm.
Session Fest is open to the public of all ages but you must be 21+ to purchase glass and beer tickets. Have your ID ready at the entry. Dogs on leashes allowed and welcome! Tag @drakesbeer and use #SessionBeerDog to show us how your pooch enjoys the day.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Session Fest is open to the public of all ages but you must be 21+ to purchase glass and beer tickets. Wristbands will be given to those who are of legal drinking age. Please have your ID ready at entry!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need to print your ticket, please check in with your phone at the event.
What are my transportation options?
Free bike valet will be available at the event. Snow Park is well served by transit, including BART (19th Street station – 0.4 miles / Lake Merritt station – 0.8 miles) and AC Transit lines NL, 12, 33, and many lines that stop on Broadway nearby.
The 300 Lakeside Parking Garage (300 Lakeside Dr between Harrison St & 21st St), located directly across the intersection from Snow Park, will be open from 9am – 10pm. Rates are $14 for all-day parking.
