Ribfest is a two-day event at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place in Downtown Kalamazoo. As one of the original festivals held downtown, Ribfest is now in its 35th year and attracts over 10,000 people each summer. Proceeds from the Kalamazoo Ribfest go to benefit the Arc Community Advocates.
The event features national and local rib vendors that sell meats in outstanding barbeque sauces. To complement the rib vendors, additional food vendors will be offering side items and sweet treats to top off the food experience at Ribfest.
The event will also bring in national rock and country musical artists, local bands, plenty of fun activities including children’s crafts/games, and the exciting contest for Best Ribs in Kalamazoo. This year’s headliners include 90’s Dance Party (Featuring Tone Loc, Young MC, C+C Music Factory, and Color Me Badd), and Pop Evil!

Q: Do I have to buy a separate ticket for the concert?
A: No, your admission to the festival includes all the entertainment.
Q: What does the VIP ticket include?
A: Enjoy Ribfest in style! The VIP ticket includes access to a private bathroom, seating area and beer trailer. Everyone needs a VIP ticket to get into this area, including children.
Q: Do you allow re-entry?
A: We allow re-entry during the early afternoon, but there is no re-entry if you leave the festival after 3PM.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Kids are welcome! We just ask that after 7 p.m., all kids under the age of 17 must be with an adult. Kids under 12 get into the festival for free.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the festival grounds for Ribfest. Only service animals with their required identification are allowed.
